The Bassinet Wool and Coir mattress is our response to the lack of natural options to the more mainstream man-made petrochemical foam products. This mattress has NO glues or other chemicals such as formaldehyde and flame retardants. Rather, it is encased in a 100% cotton calico casing that is hand stitched to minimize movement. The Bassinet Wool and Coir mattress is approximately 2 inches thick (5cm), and made with a core of rubberised coconut fibre (coir) wrapped in a soft layer of Australian Downs wool. The Coir offers a firm support base whilst the wool works as a comfort layer. This combination promotes airflow and regulates body temperature. Our mattress is 70cm x 90cm however we do specialize in making custom sizes. Customers need to supply us with the actual bassinet frame so we can make the mattress to fit. Give yourself and us plenty of time before baby arrives and plan ahead by dropping off the bassinet frame to 122 Percival Road, Stanmore, NSW, 2048 well before your due date.
