After many requests from our customers; we have finally come up with, and executed a fantastic bunk bed design. Pictured is a king/single size bunk bed with a straight side ladder that can be dismantled for shipping or moving through doorways, and also to split into two seperate king/single size bed frames. These are constructed using Australia hardwood timber and have been made by hand on site. The Cloud 7 is one of our most popular mattresses. It is 18cm thick consisting of a 10cm natural latex core layered with natural ripple latex on both sides and then wrapped in a soft layer of Australian Downs wool. This “sandwich” is then enclosed and hand stitched into a 100% cotton herringbone fabric cover using NO glues or harmful chemicals. Our latex is pin cored to allow airflow to circulate within the mattress. It also has 5 posture zones for full body support. Some of the known properties of latex include: naturally flame retardant, dust mite resistant, non-allergenic, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal.

The Davenport is a foldable mattress. It is often matched with our Banksia Sofa base to provide a luxurious sleep for the overnight or short-stay guest. It is also suitable for daily use as a mattress. The Davenport is 15cm thick consisting of a 10cm natural latex core wrapped in a soft double layer of Australian Downs wool. This “sandwich” is hand stitched into a 100% cotton calico cover using NO glues or harmful chemicals. The Davenport is a suitable mattress for those looking for flexibility, portability and ease of handling (it is lighter in weight than most of our mattresses) due to age or physical restrictions.

The Deluxe mattress is our “vegetarian inner spring” mattress. It offers the feel of an innerspring mattress without the metal springs. Everything inside this 23cm thick mattress is natural from the rubberised coconut fibre known as coir, to the layers of straight and ripple latex and layer of Australian Downs wool. This “sandwich” is hand stitched into a 100% cotton herringbone cover using NO glues or harmful chemicals.

The Latex and Hemp is the ultimate allergy sufferers’ mattress because its organic cotton and hemp blend cover can be removed for machine washing. However, it is also popular with our customers who want a mattress without wool (hello vegans!) or something more portable and easier to handle. At 15cm the mattress core is 100% natural latex. The latex is pin cored to allow airflow to circulate within the mattress. It has 5 posture zones offering excellent lumbar support. The construction of the Latex and Hemp mattress uses NO glues or harmful chemicals. Some of the known properties of latex include: naturally flame retardant, dust mite resistant, non-allergenic, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal.

The Supreme is an ideal mattress for younger family members. It is also ideal for those wanting a firm mattress. The Supreme is 20cm thick consisting of coir (rubberised coconut fibre core) layered with straight latex on both side and Australian Downs wool. This “sandwich” is hand stitched into a 100% cotton herringbone cover using NO glues or harmful chemicals.

The mattress contains a 7cm rubberised coconut-fibre core covered with layers of 100% Australian Downs Woool. It is hand stitched into a 100% cotton calico does this translate in terms of sleep? The mattress offers firm back support because of this core and the woollen layer provides comfort by regulation body temperature.
